ByPass Kali Linux Root Login Password - J Techcode

Edit Boot Options

  • Click E button on Kali GNU/Linux  [or]
  • Click E button on Advanced option for Kali GNU/Linux
  • Then opens boot option and edit like this types
linux         /vmlinux-5.3.0-kali2-armd64 root=/dev/mapper/jtechcode-\-vg-root rw initrd=/install/gtk/initrd.gz quite init=/bin/bash

linux         /vmlinux-5.3.0-kali2-armd64 root=/dev/mapper/jtechcode-\-vg-root rw initrd=/install/gtk/initrd.gz init=/bin/bash

  • Press CTRL+X or F10 or CTRL+C button, It can rebooted
  • Opening Terminal as root
  • Now reset the password
  • type command [ passwd root ] hit enter button
  • Now type new password and configure it
  • Now password updated successfully
  • Type this command [ reboot -f
  • System can be rebooted
  • Now login as root with new password
  • Your logged in successfully
